OUR PHILOSOPHY

DOGS AND CATS ARE BUILT LIKE THEIR ANCESTORS. WE BELIEVE THEY SHOULD EAT LIKE THEM TOO.
Evolved as hunters, the physical structure of their teeth, jaws and digestive system scientifically classify dogs and cats as carnivores; evolved over thousands of years to operate on an almost exclusively natural raw food diet.

We select foods that mirror the richness, freshness and varieties of meats that dogs and cats would naturally hunt in the wild and for which they are evolved to eat.

We recommend foods that feature exceptionally high quality of fresh whole meats, vegetables, nourishing liver, tripe, cartilage and marrow in ratios that resemble their natural diets.
Not All Ingredients Are Equal

Ingredients are vehicles for nutrients. All animals big or small have daily nutrient requirements. They need protein, fat, carbohydrates/fibre, vitamins and minerals and water, in specific amounts. The best products will be formulated with highly digestible ingredients that provide the highest quality of these nutrients in an extremely palatable format. In other words, the quality of a food does not start OR end at the face value of the ingredient deck. It takes science, research, innovation, expertise, and clinical trials to provide optimal nutrition.
